The fast-spreading Covid-19 pandemic is creating panicky havoc in Bollywood and the TV world. Just as everyone was jolted when handsome, hunk Arjun Kapoor informed that he had tested “corona positive, but asymptomatic—and have quarantined myself at home under medical supervision” came another rattling news. Hero Arjun’s off-screen steady-glam-diva-girlfriend Malaika Arora has also “tested corona positive ” . The resilient, zestful oomph-girl dancing diva Malaika revealed that she is ‘asymptomatic and is under home quarantine’. She also hoped to bounce back soon, healthier and stronger. We at bollyy.com & Mayapuri are fervently praying for both to be blessed with speedy recovery. Amid this, there are reports that the shooting of popular Sony TV ‘India’s Best Dancer’,(IBD) which has Malaika as one of its scene-stealer glam-hottie-babe judges has now been postponed. According to reports, all the contestants and crew members have also got themselves tested and the results are awaited.
Reportedly, the ‘IBD’ team-crew , along with co-judges ace choreographers Terence Lewis and Geeta-maa Kapur, which was supposed to shoot (today) on September 7, is most likely to shoot towards the weekend now. "The shooting of the show will be postponed until further notice. We are awaiting test results of all the contestants and crew members. Only after we get confirmation, will we announce new dates for the shoot. If everyone else on the set tests negative, then we plan to shoot on Thursday or Friday," a source close to the production house was quoted saying.

Although Malaika is likely to stay home for the next two to three weeks, the ‘IBD’ producers do not intend to replace Malaika post her COVID 19 diagnosis. "We don't plan to get another judge. Malaika will be back on the show as soon as she recovers. For two or three episodes, it is not possible to rope in another judge. Also, no celeb may agree to come as a judge at such short notice. But if possible we may try to get a temporary-guest judge to come in place of Malaika." the source had added.
Like ongoing shoots of every other reality and fiction TV shows, the ‘IBD’ show's producers have taken extensive care on the set in ensuring that social distancing is maintained as much as possible and a lot of sanitizers are provided. They had even immensely reduced the props and the contestants who dance in twos, and extra optimum care was taken to avoid physical contact as much as possible.
