“Behind my glamour-allure, there is an intense performer,” says model-actress Pranita Waghchoure

She discloses that has been in the mayanagari Mumbai since past several years. When you check out her swag-aura-oomphy images, it’s tough to figure out that articulate Pranita originally grew up in a small-town.

Before she shifted base to dreams-city Mumbai some years ago. Not surprisingly, she has a huge fan-following on social-media which includes a few filmy celebs as well.

She informs that she has been shooting for print-ads and ad-commercials as also for a Telugu movie.

Style-savvy stunner Pranita , shares that she is looking forward to finalizing Hindi films and other regional movies offers. Speaking exclusively to bollyy.com and Mayapuri she responds to our sawaal :

Pranita, what made you deviate into glamour modeling and acting ?

The well-developed spiritual town which I belong to is Ambajogai (in Maharashtra).

It is a matter of pride that eminent political leaders and cabinet ministers like Pramod Mahajan and Gopinath Munde both belong to my home-town Ambajogai.

As a teenaged school and college student, almost everyone would tell me that ‘you look so beautiful and photogenic that you should be getting into modeling and movies’.

Since I had the inborn talent I attended dance training classes and always won the first prize in all dance contests, as an academic student.

Then later on, my journey deviated towards Mumbai to plunge into advertising showbiz

Haven’t you been offered lead roles in Hindi or regional movies ?

I was getting movie-offers from film-makers and also from Sachin Joshi for Hindi movies At that time I was super-busy with my modeling assignments .

I did not pay much attention even when TV serials were offered to me. As an optimistic person, I would feel that I will get something much better than this.

Now that I am part of a Telugu movie cast, I am now expecting to get decent dignified lead offers from Hindi movies and OTT web-shows. Whichever roles are ‘destined’ in my name, will definitely come my way.

How has been your experience of working in South Indian regional movies ?

Until now it is really good. Frankly, I have learnt a lot being in the Southside regional industry.

Even for promising newcomers (like me) they give so much respect plus advice and guidance.

They will teach you everything Whenever I return to Bollywood, with experience, I will not have any inhibitions and I have now become more camera-friendly.

As is common knowledge, most Bollywood heroines ( like Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone etc) have acted initially in regional Southside movies.

Being a ‘natural performer’ I get lots of applause-appreciation from the director, co-stars and crew on the sets, when I give good performance-‘takes’ for intense scenes in my South film.

Why are you not readily accepting offers from OTT web-series ?

With my (photogenic) looks and swag-oomph-allure I have been receiving several web-show offers from even leading banners.

But they seem to require explicit intimate-dare-bare scenes, which I am not comfortable with. Hence I have declined them.

What I am looking for is heroine-centric character-driven challenging lead roles, both positive as well as negative Yes, I am okay with revealing outfits and bold scenes only if they are essential to the script-situation and if it’s also the genuine demand of my screen-character. But definitely no explicit vulgarity-obscenity shots for me.

Pranita, which movie directors and star heroes are on your dream-wish-list ?

It has always been on my dream-wish-list to work with eminent directors such as Rajkumar Hirani, Anurag Kashyap, Milan Luthria, Nagraj Manjule, Sai Kabir Shrivastav, Sriram Raghavan, Kona Venkat-Sir , Sujeeth Reddy-Sir, and finally ‘showman’ S S Rajamouli-Sir.

Among the star-heroes the actors I wish to romance on- screen are mega-stars Prabhas-Sir (my crazy‘crush’ as well) and Salman Khan and then of course Kartik Aaryan.
