Being a versatile actor is a tough task, you need to improve every time’ says Rashami Desai on playing Palak in ULLU’s Tandoor

Rashami Desai has been quite the talk of the town since the trailer of her recent OTT show ‘Tandoor’ on ULLU was released - Jyothi Venkatesh

Her chemistry with her on-screen partner Tanuj Virwani has been loved by the audience. Tandoor has created quite an intrigue and buzz in the OTT space.

From the song 'Tujh Bin' to the trailer of the show, every release has been trending on social media.

Rashami has received a lot of appreciation from her friends from the industry as well as from her audience and fans.

On her debut in the OTT Industry, Rashami shares, “Playing a certain character and understanding the intricacy of it, shows how passionate of an actor you are.

When I was offered Palak, I was blown off by the script. Believe me when I say, even in the 80s, Palak was so powerful, fearless, bold, upfront that got me thinking that’s a character I want to portray.

I come out as a very outspoken person but I am actually quite an introvert, I always think before I speak.

Every time we shot for a scene, it made me wonder how differently can I portray myself as an actor because with time you need to improve yourself.

It’s not about proving to others, it’s about competing with your old self and being versatile.

It was a golden opportunity to work with Vibhu Sir and Nivedita Ma’am. I would thank my stars that I am offered such unique and wonderful roles to play”
