After Maacher Jhol (Indian Panorama selection, streaming on Netflix), the superhit team of director Pratim D. Gupta and actors Ritwick Chakraborty and Paoli Dam are back with a Bengali-language investigative thriller SHANTILAL O Projapoti Rohoshyo. It's the big Independence Day release in Bengal, arriving on 15th August.

Pratim's script of the film, then titled INK, was selected for the prestigious Sundance Screenwriters Lab in 2013. Shantilal O Projapoti Rohoshyo also stars filmmaker Goutam Ghose (last seen in Majid Majidi's Beyond the Clouds) and has music by Bollywood hit man Arko (Bareilly Ki Barfi). It's produced by Sanjay Agarwal of Century Plywoods under his new banner Auroville Investments.
