माना की कुछ भी हो सकता है, लेकिन बात तो तब है जब उस होने में क्या क्या होता है, जैसे की...28 Years ago a little girl was born to Mahesh Bhatt and Soni rajdan and had a very ordinary childhood, went to the most normal school and was not a very bright student, some even called her a dumb student which she later in a reality show in which Karan Johar asked her who the president of India was, and she had scratched her head for a few moments and answered prithvi raj chauhan - Ali Peter John

She didn't proceed beyond her High school, there was no way she could because she was only interested in theatre and singing in English of which her mother Soni rajdan was an expert.

Her famous (infamous) father Mahesh Bhatt showed no interest in her future or the future of his elder daughter from Soni, Shaheen, but it was Soni who had all the ambitions she couldn't fulfilled for herself who encouraged her little daughter to take interest in films.

It was Soni who used to take her around to meet directors and face auditions and it was on one such day that Tanuja Chandra one of Mahesh Bhatt's active assistants found the 9 yr old girl Alia good enough to play the childhood of Preeti Janta in Sangharsh and Alia proved she had the Calibre.

At around the same time, the 9 yr old Alia faced an audition for the lead role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Black and her audition was taken by the young Ranbir Kapoor who was an assistant to Sanjay Leela Bhansali then and both Ranbir and Bhansali found her too young to understand the intricacies of her character and she was rejected.

Bhansali was however impressed by her and considered her for another film he was making called "Balika Vadhu", but this project too didn't work out and Bhansali however didn't give up and he obsession to caste her went to the extent of thinking of making a film on the love story of shahir and Amrita Pritam and he didn't know who he would caste in the role of Shahir , but he was sure that he would caste Alia as Amrita which was a crazy decision he was taking according to Many and as expected he had to give up the idea.

But what could one do with a man who was obsessed with his discovery of the actress in Alia? At a time when Alia was still being considered as a "student", Bhansali thought of casting her as Gangubai, the madam of the brothels in kamathipura and he kept to his decision inspite all the criticism and look at what his decision and his obsession has made of Alia Bhatt today!

And if all works out well, Bhansali will also caste Alia in a major role in his next film which is Heramandi which is based on the Red light areas of Lahore in pre partition Pakistan. The way things are, it seems like Bhansali will not be able to make films without Alia Bhatt again.

"Gangubai Katiawadi" will soon be the first Hindi film with a female "hero" whose collection in the first 12 days will cross the 100 cr mark.

And this figure is a tight slap in the face Alia's arc rival Kangna Ranaut who days before the release had said that the film with Alia would incur heavy loses and all the money spent on it would down the drain.

The success of the film is said of have made Kangna eat her own words, but she will have to give a better answer to Alia when her next film "Dhaakad" is expected to be released during the end of March.

The grand success of Gangubai has encouraged all the procedures of Alia's stalled films to hurry up and release their films with Alia.

RRR, SSS Rajamaulus multicrore historical is now all set for release and Alia plays one of the lead roles in it and even before it's release Rajamauli and his writer/father K.V vijender Prasad are already planning another mega film with and Mahesh Babu, the number one male telegu star and there are many other producers waiting with bags full of money and content for Alia.

What is the biggest victory for Alia is her being cast in one of the most expensive Hollywood films in which she teams up with Gal Cadman and Jamie dorman in Heart of stone to be made by Netflix and directed by Tom happer.

Amitabh Bachchan saw Gangubai even before the release and wrote a letter of appreciation to Alia in which he told her that she would certainly be an actress in the very long run.

Amitabh even told her father Mahesh Bhatt that she had that powerful spark in her which was inborn and couldn't be learned or taught.

Her father however could not say anything much about her because he had once confessed that he had no part to play in her grooming and even when he directed her and her sister Pooja Bhatt in Sadak2 the film turned out to be the biggest disaster in Alia's career.

And now one wonders if she will ever work with her father again. In the meanwhile Alia is waiting for the release of her other films which have been victim of the corona virus, films like Brahmastra in which she teams up with Amitabh, her beau Ranbir and Nagarjun and Raja aur Rani ki prem kahani and then she will start work on Farhan Akhtars Jara ji le in which she teams up with Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif.

In between all this hurry and flurry of work to more work when will Ranbir and Alia find time to fulfill the wish of Ranbir's late father Rishi Kapoor and Alia's mother Soni?
