Escorted by a charming young lady, ‘Bigg Boss-1’ winner debonair actor Rahul Roy (‘Aashiqui’ fame) walked into the Rapchee OTT App launch party hosted by showbiz visionary Dharam Gupta. Which in turn had the media-lensmen merrily clicking him with the mysterious girl. Speaking exclusively to this senior film correspondent the suave Rahul revealed his sentiments. “ She is my mooh-boli behen ( like an adopted sister) and coincidentally her name is Priyanka Roy. She is a fine actress and is my co-star in Tanvir Ahmad’s international film ‘Night and Fog’ .I am mentoring Priyanka. In real-life, I do not have any sister and we know each other for the past couple of years,” disclosed the ‘am-still-single’ Rahul . Besides his four movies on hand, the Roy-boy is “also considering offers for ‘web-series’ provided they are logically entertaining and exciting enough” . The unveiling of their logo event of the OTT Rapchee App organised by dynamic Dharam Gupta at Ramada Palm Grove Hotel emerged a star-studded affair that included celebs like Gauhar Khan, Rahul Roy, Jasleen Matharu, Kangana Sharma Gehna Vashisth, Rushad Rana, Shweta Khanduri, Jyotsna Chandola, Tinaa Ghai, Sajan Agarwal, Homi Wadia, Hemant (‘Tarzan’) Birje, model-actress Linisha Basu ( from Chicago-U.S.), Adi Irani, Nigar Khan. The highlight of the late evening event which was brilliantly emceed by the vivacious model Dr. Saundarya Garg ,was the dazzling live dance performance by the latest sultry web-sensation Kangana Sharma. Declared Dharam Gupta, “ We are set to start streaming on ‘Rapchee’ by end of September. For me good scripts that assure original entertaining quality content are of prime importance. Most of the bigger apps are more interested only in big names and popular face-value and content is damned. Besides international content, our shows will be available in ten different regional languages ,” disclosed Dharam.
