Gunaratna Sadavarte threatened the contestants to go on hunger strike

Yes, a task done by Karan Veer Mehra, Isha Singh, and Avinash Mishra in the show upset Gunaratna Sadavarte. This forced him to announce that he would also go on a hunger strike.

Hema Sharma and Tajinder Bagga pleaded for the abolition of the jail sentence

Let us tell you that in the latest episode of Bigg Boss 18, Gunaratna Sadavarte and Chahat Pandey were seen pleading with Bigg Boss to end the jail sentence of Hema Sharma and Tajinder Singh Bagga. Both have been in jail since the beginning of this week. After repeated requests, Bigg Boss called all the housemates and informed them that the jail cannot be left empty. As a result, he asked the contestants to choose two others who they believed should be in jail in place of Hema and Tajinder. Chahat Pandey agreed to go to jail voluntarily.

Will Gunaratna Sadavarte remain in jail?

Furthermore, several housemates raised their hands in support of the release of Tajinder Singh Bagga and Hema Sharma. However, Karan Veer Mehra, Eisha Singh and Avinash Mishra refused, saying that they had initially volunteered to go to jail. Bigg Boss then praised the trio for sticking to their decision and gave them the special right to choose one contender whom they believed should accompany Chahat Pandey inside the jail. They chose Gunratna Sadavarte for the task.

Gunaratna Sadavarte gave up food and water

This decision made Gunaratna lose his cool. He expressed his anger and refused to go to jail. Despite assurances from his co-contestants that this is not a punishment, Gunaratna stood by his stance and said, "I will leave now, but will not go to jail." The situation worsened when he announced that he would go on a hunger strike. He said, "I have given up food and water and it will come on national television." Eventually, Bigg Boss announced that Tajinder Singh Bagga and Hema Sharma will remain in jail. Hema broke down as she was disappointed at having agreed to a jail sentence in the first place. Meanwhile, Gunaratna is also one of the contestants nominated for eviction this week.
