Feroz Khan was if you ask me one of the most stylish Khans among all the other Khans who walked across the world of Hindi films - Ali Peter John

He made it big as a star in a class of his own and continued his grand success story as a filmmaker too.

He launched his only son, Fardeen Khan in his own film "Jaanasheen", a stylish film which was expected from him, but didn't do as well as it was expected to. Fardeen did other films like "Om Jai Jagdish" which marked the debut of Anupam Kher as a director (whatever happened to Anupam, the director after this film flopped miserably?), but Fardeen could not make any headway as a star or a good actor and his father was always concerned about him.

It was during this time that Fardeen created a sensation when he was arrested one morning for possessing a gram of cocaine and the news spread like wildfire, especially because he was the son of the "wild and angry Khan called Feroz Khan".

Feroz Khan jumped into the battle to save his son and used all the power he had at his command and all the tactics he was an expert at and did not rest till he got Fardeen out of the trap he had got into.....

But, the damage had already been done to the career and image of Fardeen. He did not find any work as an actor and even his father did not seem to have the courage or the confidence to make a film with his son again.

Fardeen was out of the limelight and was not given enough publicity even when he married the daughter of his father's one time heroine, Mumtaz. He faced another big shock when his father was stricken by cancer and died.

That one gram of cocaine must have taught Fardeen bitter lessons for a lifetime.
There is a lot of talk about Fardeen making a come back as an actor, but will cocaine keep away from him and give him a chance to live a new life all over again???
