It was the 60th birthday of Amitabh Bachchan and it was being celebrated in a grand way at the then Centaur Hotel in Juhu the entire celebration was planned by Jaya, his wife who had invited the cream of the industry and celebrities from all walks of life - Ali Peter John

A coffee table book titled "To B or not to B " ( to which I had the privilege of making a significant contribution was also released on the occasion .

The hall was packed to capacity and more celebrities were walking in and it looked like a never before celebration.

There was a formal stage function to release the book and cut the cake . And after Amitabh cut the cake , he looked all around the hall and there was high expectation in the air , till he finally ask Karishma Kapoor (LOLO) who was in the crowd with her mother , Babita and little sister Kareena (BEBO) to come on to the stage .

And as Karishma walked up , Amitabh announced " ye Karishma hai , meri honewaali bahu " and there was happiness on the face of every one and even the waiters stoped serving to applaud a to - be father in law , daughter in law and bridegroom.
