Govinda: The All-Rounder with a Legacy of Super Hits

Govinda has done a hundred and forty-eight films as a leading man, of the films that have done well because Govinda was in them, more than a hundred of them have been super hits, others average, and just two or one that may have been a hit in the making. The marks have failed. Govinda created his school of acting. He is an all-rounder, an actor who can take any role and give it his touch. Govinda has been a household name when it comes to entertainment in films for over twenty-four years. How would you describe your career at this stage? All I can say is that I have left the past behind me, no matter how great and glorious it was. I don't even want to remember it. I am going to start again and the world will see a new Govinda, that's my promise. He is the one who has left me, I have not, and I will show the world how much Govinda is still alive in me.

How is it all going to start again? I know it will be a little difficult, a little uncomfortable. I sometimes wonder what it would be like because so much has changed. But I have some good people who believe in me and will stand by me. Men like David Dhawan with whom I have given eighteen hit films. All I need is some moral support and some very difficult roles to show what I couldn't do during all the years I was only being considered a dancing hero.

What offers are coming? People are beginning to feel that Govinda still has a lot of life in him. The word has spread and I am being offered films and I am starting to feel that much desired feeling of love and being wanted. It has given me the kind of strength an actor who has gone through a bad patch needs. I have accepted some offers, although I still have to recover everything I have lost. I hope things start getting better for me.

What's the biggest compliment you've received recently? There have been some very good directors and actors who have been telling me how they miss me on screen. I have received praise from some of the best talents in the industry, which has inspired me to start a new life as an actor.

How do you see your future in these changing times? The fact that some filmmakers who are half my age are coming up to me and telling me what a great actor I am and some of them are signing me for their films is a great way for me to stop worrying. And that's reason enough to make a new plan. Future. I am waiting for the right director to give me some good roles. I have matured as an actor and can play any role like only a very good actor can. Today I have such confidence and I am sure that no one can take away my confidence.
