Deepika Chikhalia has been obsessed with acting since childhood. She participated in many drama programs during his school days. In one of her interviews, Deepika Chikhalia said that when she was just 4 years old, her father was transferred to Kolkata. During a party, when famous Bengali film actor Uttam Kumar saw Deepika, he asked her to be cast as a child artist in his film. However, Deepika was very young at that time. Because of this, the actress's parents refused to let her work in films. She worked as the lead character in the film 'Sun Meri Laila'. After this, Rajshree Production asked her to work as a paying guest in a show, to which the actress said yes.

A friend of Deepika Chikhlia had revealed in an interview with a magazine that the actress had received a big offer to work in a Hollywood film. For this, she was also offered a huge fee. But the condition of the makers was that Deepika would have to expose herself a lot in this Hollywood film. Whereas Deepika had made up her mind that she would play the role of Sita only and due to this she rejected this big offer at once.

Deepika Chikhalia tried her hand at politics

Deepika Chikhalia had contested the Lok Sabha elections from the Vadodara seat of Gujarat in 1991 as a BJP candidate. Which she won by defeating Raja Ranjit Singh Gaikwad by more than 50 thousand votes.
