BOLLYWOOD ACTORS WHO TOOK PATERNITY BREAK FOR THEIR WIVES

Paternity leaves are not just for females now! Yes, you read that right. Bollywood never fails to give us some major goals and trends. The latest trend in Bollywood is to go on Babymoon or a vacation during pregnancy. This way the celebs get to spend some quality time with their spouse. It is said to strengthen the relationship the couple shares before they welcome a new life into their world. These babymoons work like a therapy on the soon-to-be mothers.

Here are all the Bollywood actors who planned to or took paternity break for their wives.

Shahid Kapoor

darling daughter of Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput, Misha was born on 7 July 2015. While now, Shahid and Mira are expecting their second child. DNA quoted its source saying; “Shahid’s wife is due in September, so he will take about a month’s break to be with his family, post which he will resume AR’s shoot."

Retiesh Deshmukh

Hindustan Times quoted its source as saying; “He will resume shooting only after two-weeks. Genelia should be discharged from the hospital by the end of this week. They don’t want to divulge too many details as they want to keep this special moment private. For the same reason, apart from close family and friends, nobody has been informed about the hospital Genelia is in,”

Kunal Khemu

Kunal Khemu and Soha Ali Khan were blessed with a daughter named Inaaya Naumion 29 September 2017. When DNA asked Kunal Khemu about paternity break, he said;  “I will be caught up with the promotions of the film, but I do believe that a short leave is necessary, or else I will be in trouble later. I really look forward to spending a significant amount of time with the baby. I have decided to take time out even though we are going to have a rigorous schedule during the promotions of the film.”

Saif Ali Khan

Taimur Ali Khan, the cute Pataudi was born on 20 December 2016. Saif Ali Khan took paternity leave till mid-January to be beside Kareena and son Taimur.

Abhishek Bachchan

Abhishek Bachchan had planned to take leave in November as Aaradhya was born on 16 November 2011 to be with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and their child Aaradhya, but he had to cancel his paternity break because Aamir has limited dates for the shoot of Dhoom 3.

Imran Khan

"After marriage you go on a honeymoon, and before a baby is born you go on a babymoon, it is the last holiday before you have a child. It was very relaxing."

Vivek Oberoi

“The birth of my son has added a new magic to our relationship. We shared lovely moments like going for a three-week Babymoon to Bali, when Priyanka was six months pregnant."
