From its bustling cities to its tranquil countryside, the region has something to offer everyone. It is a proudly diverse community, making it a perfect place to celebrate the Festival of Lights, especially with its substantial South Asian expatriate community which makes it so unique.

The Games brought together different races, genders, ages, and religions to celebrate a joyous city's historic time. Obviously, the legacy of the Games lives on when you walk down Birmingham New Street and see the “OG” mechanical bull, who was a fan favorite during the Games after his introduction during the opening ceremony. However, the legacy of sports prevails in our region in many other ways, including spirit, collectivism, and pride.
This Diwali celebration is the perfect opportunity to extend this feel-good feeling, and as the West Midlands is a proud region full of diversity, we are excited to bring the community together and help heighten the excitement around the festival of lights.
