Biden for his extraordinary achievements in the music industry. Besides being recognised for the award, it also showcases President Biden's commitment to acknowledging creative personalities and their contributions to society via artistic endeavours.In addition, Naveen Kumar was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Montgomery County local government in Maryland, USA. These remarkable achievements are a testament to Naveen Kumar's incredible talent. With his work, he has made a significant impact on the music industry across the globe. In a spectacular career, he has collaborated with numerous music composers and artists from the industry. Going back to his journey, he started his career in 1984 after being introduced by the legendary composer Shri Ilayaraja. Since then, he has collaborated with notable names like A.R. Rahman, Pritam, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Sajid-Wajid, Salim Sulaiman and Thaman.S many more. Not to forget, he has contributed to popular songs like 'Zara Zara' from 'Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein' and the title track of 'Kal Ho Naa Ho'. However, he grabbed everyone's attention with the instrumental orchestral piece Bombay Theme, composed by A.R. Rahman for the 1995 film 'Bombay'. Apart from this, he has worked for many big Bollywood films like 'Dil Bechara', 'Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna', 'Raavan', 'Jab We Met' and 'Kisna'. Interestingly, Naveen Kumar's musical prowess is beyond Bollywood as he has collaborated with renowned musicians like Sivamani, Louiz Banks, Mandolin Srinivas, and John McLaughlin. More so, he has invented nine of his exclusive flutes and has released various albums like 'Silence Is Bliss', 'Flutetronics', 'Melodies of Love' and 'Café Fluid'.
