BONEY KAPOOR WILL NOT OFFER PRAYERS FOR SRIDEVI IN HARIDWAR

Sridevi's sudden death came as a shocker for the whole nation. Last week, Boney Kapoor and his two daughters; Janhvi and Khushi flew to Rameswaram in a special aircraft to immerse Sridevi's ashes. According to a leading daily, the producer will now go to Haridwar to pray for his wife's departed soul. The daily stated, “Conducting prayers at Haridwar is a  significant custom for Hindus, especially for those who are from North India. And Boney wants to ensure that he goes through the rituals at the holy place.”

There are also reports that instead of the prayers in Chennai to be held on the 13th day, the prayer meet in Sridevi's hometown will take place on the 16th day, following her demise.

The veteran, first female superstar passed away on February 24 in Dubai due to accidental drowning in a bathtub.
