By Team Bollyy 20 Sep 2017 | Updated On 20 Sep 2017 10:06 IST in News & Gossip New Update Follow Us Share Simran might have impressed some of her fans but the ground reality is that the film has tanked at the box office miserably. Following the same, reports have been doing the round that as repercussion of Simran's failure, the budget of Kangana's next film Manikarnika:The Queen of Jhansi has been slashed. However, that might just not be true after all! Confused? Read on to find what all went down! The confusion started when an entertainment portal stated that since historical films are expensive and looking at the box office collection of Simran, the makers are thinking if Kangana will be able to draw in audiences to recover the cost of a high budget film like Manikarnika. However, now Manikarnika’s producer Kamal Jain has thrashed these reports saying that they have not reduced the budget. He went on to reveal that the film had started after Rangoon’s debacle and if they didn’t reduce the budget at that time, why would they do it now since Rangoon was a bigger disaster than Simran. Kamal stated that the unique subject of the film attracted him and he is lucky to make a film like Manikarnika. He also informed that 50 per cent of the flick is complete and they will soon start shooting for the next schedule in Rajasthan. All said and done, the fact is that Kangana desperately needs a big hit now and we hope that happens with Manikarnika! #bollywood news #Bollywood #Simran #kangana ranaut Related Articles Advertisment Latest Stories Read the Next Article
