Among countless lives impacted by Population Foundation of India’s popular edutainment show Main Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hoon, the story of Bundelkhand’s. 23-year-old Ladkunwar Kushwaha who fought against all odds and social stereotypes to pursue her college education is truly an inspiring one.

23 year-old Ladkunwar Kushwaha is the first girl from her village in Madhya Pradesh, to go to college. But the journey from a small government school in Naya Gaon to a college 40kms away wasn't easy. She has had to battle the wrath of upper caste men in the village who didn't want her to study fearing it would encourage others to demand the same.

Inspired by the show MKBKSH, Ladkunwar convinced her parents to abandon their plans for her marriage. Backed by a supportive family and a drive to take charge of her own life. Ladkunwar has now completed her B.A and is working with women empowerment centre in Ratlam encouraging other women to seek education and fulfil their dreams.

Ladkunwar Kushwaha, who is looking forward to the third season of Main Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hoon says, “The country needs a third season of Main Kuch Bhi Kar sakti Hoon. Like the first two seasons have inspired so many women and men to change their lives and those of their loved ones for the better, the third season will continue to motivate more people to fight the social evils and encourage women. As more women will be empowered, they will be capable of protecting themselves since they will not accept anything wrong being done upon team.”

Created by noted director Feroz Abbas Khan, the shooting of the third season of Main Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hoon has started in Shimla and Maharashtra after two compelling seasons that made an impact on women, men and young people. With an empowering new slogan 'Main Desh Ka Chehra Badal Doongee', the show's protagonist Dr. Sneha Mathur plans to tackle fresh issues, including access to hygiene and sanitation. The show has proven to be one of the flagship programmes on the national broadcaster Doordarshan with several repeat telecasts, dubbed and telecast in 13 different Indian languages and aired on 216 AIR stations across the country.

This time, Population Foundation of India is supported by the Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to produce the much-awaited third season of this popular edutainment show.
