CAN SUSHANT SINGH RAJPUT BE THE NEW 'GABBAR' OF BOLLYWOOD

The M.S. Dhoni : The untold Story starrer Sushant Singh Rajput is all set for his new upcoming movie 'Son Chiriya' which is been directed by Abhishek Chaubey. The director has earlier directed movies like Udta Punjab, Dedh Ishqiya and Ishqiya. Sushant will be seen in a very different avatar in this movie. He will play the role of a dacoit in the movie which is something very new to him. The movie also stars Bhumi Pednekar and Manoj Bajpayee in the lead role.

The very first image which comes to our mind of the word 'dacoit' is the Gabbar from Sholay. The character of Gabbar is one of the most popular in Bollywood and it will be really exciting to watch this movie and find out that can Sushant Singh Rajput beat the most famous character of Indian Cinema or make history  again with a comeback of new Gabbar.

Set in the 1970s, Sushant and Bhumi will apparently play dacoits in the film. A source related to the film had earlier said, “The film is high on emotions and drama. There is a love story as well as a romantic angle between Sushant and Bhumi.”

Talking about Sushant's experience in the ravines, he had told IANS, “Shooting for Abhishek Chaubey’s film is on full swing. I came here in Chambal early to do a bit of warm up for the film. Visiting ravines, talking to locals, working on dialect and inflection and a bit of cut-off from everything before the shoot helps keep the right things in perspective.”

Speaking about her role in the film, Bhumi, in a statement to a leading agency, had said, “I have never really chased a ‘breaking that mould’… I am not an actor who sees that now I will do romantic, urban, thriller films. I am not that sort of an actor. I purely go by my instinct when I read a script.”

So now lets wait and watch the film of this newly formed pair to hit the silver screen, as these two actors have never shared the screen together and the fans reacion to it. Sushant's upcoming movies are Kedarnath, Paani, Drive, Chandamama Door Ke.
