A true woman is the perfect embodiment of sheer will, positivity and above all strong conviction. Women never cease to amaze us of the incredible endeavours that they can accomplish by achieving everything they set their mind to and stop at nothing to see it through. From birthing to tethering us as infants, it’s always the way of the woman. This International Day of the Girl Child, &flix and &PrivéHD celebrate the week with Hollywood blockbusters that define today’s women with powerful portrayals of Superwomen superstars from 5th-10th October, 2020 weeknights at 7PM.

Backed with immense courage that distinct themselves from others, ‘Flix Superwomen’ brings specially curated movies that are bound to empower you this week. The movie marathon starts with comedy-drama ‘Late Night’ starring two-time Academy Award winner Emma Thompson and Mindy Kaling about a struggling artist that finally earns her name in fame. It is then followed by heart throbbing actress Mila Jovovich in guns blazing Sci-Fi action feature ‘Ultraviolet’ and globally acclaimed zombie ridden post apocalypse franchise ‘Resident Evil’ which is based on the popular video game.

With a vision to dream, determination to grow, resilience to thrive and the strength to break barriers, a woman will always lead the way. It’s a girl’s world on &PrivéHD as the channel brings to you a cinematic experience by gifted women beginning this week with a mind shattering performance by three-time Academy Award winner Meryl Streep in The Iron Lady. With strong women making news everywhere, the week only gets better with offerings which include record breaking animated features like Moana starring Auliʻi Cravalho and Brave featuring another stellar cast.A word of appreciation and special gratitude for women everywhere with the Flix First Premiere of Little Women airing 1PM and 9PM on &flix and at 3PM and 11PM on &PrivéHD
