Chandresh Singh Who Plays Rakesh In Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai Had A ‘Swargiya’ Experience In Real Life

Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai on Sony Entertainment Television is the only show on television which has rekindled the 90s romance in the viewers’ hearts. Naina & Sameer are having their cute moments which generally the couples have days before the wedding. While weddings mean celebrations, it also means confusion, dealing with the tantrums of relatives and last- minute tensions of getting things in order. The ongoing track of the show also has some similar moments wherein both the families are going through various challenges ahead of the D-Day. One such interesting sequence is coming up on the show in the coming episodes. The wedding card that will come from Sameer’s family will have Rakesh’s (Naina’s father) name addressed as Swargiya which leads to a lot of drama in the Aggarwal household.Rakesh Aggarwal (played by Chandresh Singh) who plays the lead protagonist’s Naina’s father on the show has had a similar experience wherein in one of the weddings in his friend’s family, the uncle’s name was addressed and wrongly printed as ‘Swargiya’. The same had created a lot of confusion and embarrassment for the family as the cards had already been distributed across relatives. Chandresh recalls, “When the wedding track started, I was just casually during one of the breaks narrating an incident where during one of the weddings in my friend’s house, one of his uncles was addressed as ‘Swargiya’ which wasn’t true. My friend’s family started getting calls from their relatives across confirming the news and that uncle was so angry and upset as he had to keep clarifying to everyone about his good health. The creative team found the incident so interesting that they incorporated the same in the story line and introduced a track on it. My reactions in that particular track was so real as I had closely seen those moments in real life.”Despite the many ups & downs that is ongoing in the track, there are these tensed yet funny moments which is making the episodes even more interesting for its viewers. The viewers are eagerly waiting for the real wedding sequence to start on-air and see their favorite couple Naina & Sameer tie the knot.
