Chiranjeevi Is Elated To Share Screen Frame With Bachchanji

Answering a question posed by this reporter, Chiranjeevi said that he deems it a proud privilege to be sharing the same screen frame in his son Ram Charanm’s mega historical film Syee Raa Narasimha which has been directed by Surendra Reddy and says he was touched by the humility of mega star Amitabh Bachchan who agreed to be part of his son’s mega venture when he just made a single phone call to the mega star and expressed his desire to cast him in his Telugu film. Chiranjeevi said, “Amitabhji told me that it was for the first time that I was asking him for a professional favor and he could not bring himself to say No to me and said he was ready to dole out the dates as and when he wanted me to ask him to report on the sets of his film as I needed him only for a week. His presence in the film has made it a 100 times more precious and added yet another dimension to it. Though he has acted in a Malayalam before, Syee Raa Narasimha Rao is his second Telugu film, after a long period and I am very elated to share the screen frame with an actor of his stature”, he said and confessed that the original title when he sets out to produce the film was Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy and not Syee Raa Narsimha Reddy.
