Chitra Vakil Sharma on her close friend Nivedita Basu:  She is also the one with whom I did my first ever production, Tandoor

Storyteller and producer Chitra Vakil Sharma are good friends with Nivedita Basu, producer, and VP - Head of Content Strategy and Business Alliance, Atrangii. She talks about their special, especially why it always feels wonderful to collaborate with the latter.

“Nivedita and I go back many years. We have been friends for more than two decades now. She is also the one with whom I did my first-ever production, Tandoor. It was her directorial debut too. She trusted me as a producer and we both had the most amazing time on the sets while making the show,” she says.

Chitra wants Nivedita by her side every time she does some new work. “Any show or movie or series I work on, I will always want Nivedita and Rohini to be there for the muhurat, if not more. We should always begin with positive energies around and what better than having family and loved ones around,” she adds.

Her latest show, tentatively titled Tum Bin Jaoon Kahan, is for Atrangii and Chitra is happy that her friend is heading the content division. “Atrangii recently completed one year and it's done so well. What amazing shows they have produced with all good star cast. One thing is for sure, Atrangii has a good bank of concepts and they make subjects which are relatable,” she praises before adding about her next production, “I am producing a show tentatively titled ‘Tum Bin Jaoon Kahan’, under TSM Productions. It's a finite series and I have got all ace actors on board for the show. I like the set to be full of life and fun. I am glad Nivedita Basu, Rohini Vakil Kapoor, Anmol Mahajan were a part of the muhurat on May 22, and are regularly coming on my set. Also I have a lot of friends from the industry visiting the set regularly,” she shares.
