Which are the prominent shows that you have done before? 

Prominent shows which I have done are Shastri Sisters, Mohi, Krishnadasi, Naamkaran and recently I did Piya Albela.

How did you get this show? 

I got a call from Directors Kut and I just grabbed the opportunity. I put in a lot of efforts in my audition and it was the best audition. I so wanted to work with Directors Kut, many years ago I had given an audition for some show but it didn't work out. This time I was very sure that I am going to get this role and I am going to get an opportunity to work with Directors Kut. That's how I got the show.

What is so special about your character? 

My character name is Parul. She is a very simple lady who takes care of everything in the house. She is taking care of Ben Baa, Abir, Kunal, Nanu and now she is taking care of Kaushal and family. She is there for everything and for everyone, so that is what is special about my character.

How much you relate to it?

I can relate because I always take care of my things, my people, my house, my car…so I somehow relate to Parul. Other than that, Parul is very quiet but Chaitrali is not at all quiet, I love to talk and chat a lot.

What do u think about the title of the show? 

The title is really catchy. Frankly speaking, Yeh Rishte Hain Pyaar Ke is an answer to the question Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. When I got to know about the title of the show, I was really happy to know that Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's spin-off is Yeh Rishte Hain Pyaar Ke, so I really like the title.

Have you watched yeh rishta kya kehlata hai before? 

Yes, I have watched Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in bits and pieces, I am not a regular viewer of television. I don't watch television much because I hardly get the time and whenever I am at home, I love to spend time with my husband, daughter and my pet Bruno. So I don't watch TV much but whenever I get time, I watch some serials which include Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

How is it working with Rajan shahi and directors cut? 

It is pleasure working with Rajan ji and Directors Kut, the production house is really nice and they really take care of all the artists and the technicians. On 26th March, it was my birthday and the whole unit celebrated it. I did cut the cake on the set and everybody wished me. It was really nice. Most of the times what happens is that show has just started and nobody knows it’s your birthday but luckily I share my birthday with Shaheer’s so everyone knew that even I am born on 26th March. It’s a good production house and there is a lot of positivity on the set. Of course, Rajan ji is so humble and calm. Whenever he comes on the set he makes a point that he meets everyone and greets everyone and whatever he wants to tell us, he personally comes to us and tells us so calmly.

Who is your favourite co-star on set?

My favourite co-star, of course, is with whom I share my make up room, Sangeeta Kapure,  she is fun to be with. Then Rupal Patel as well, she has a great aura. I used to always wonder how she would be in person, will talk to me or not because she is a star. But when I met her, I got to know how she is and to be honest she is so chilled out. She is just like us. We do a lot of masti on the set. Nanu is also such a fun-loving person. If there is someone who is the most fun-loving, then it's Nanu and last but not the least of course Shaheer. We have not done many scenes together but the kind of masti we do on the set is crazy. Whenever we get a break from the shot, our masti starts. He is also a superb co-star to work with. Being Shaheer Shaikh, the star he is, he does not have that attitude or any bad habits like coming late on the set. In fact, he is such an awesome guy.
