Christian Bale has donned a new look for the latest Marvel flick, Thor: Love and Thunder. His character ‘Gorr’ is about to kill you with his looks.

Marvel is back with the upcoming superhero movie, Thor: Love and Thunder. The titular superhero Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth revealed that the Oscar-winning, Dark Knight actor, Christian Bale is something of a vision. Playing the latest Marvel villain in the movie, Bale will be portraying the role of “Gorr the God Butcher”.

In a recent interview with IGN, Hemsworth shared that “Everything you'd imagine (Christian Bale) would bring to it”. He adds “Nuance and complexity and truth, levity. He's one of my favorite actors working, and I was so excited he agreed to jump on board here. What he's done is that he's definitely one of my favorite villains in the Marvel universe.”

Chris Hemsworth also confesses that “there’s so much drama and insanity around Gorr, but Christian Bale managed to pull the focus right into each moment. You can’t take your eyes off him.

The character is fascinating because, like all good villains, Gorr has a point. He may not be going about it the right way, but there’s empathy in the script and Christian brought so many more layers and so much more depth to Gorr”.

Directed by the quirky Taika Waititi and produced by Kevin Feige, Thor: Love and Thunder is releasing on 7th July 2022 in India. It stars Chris Hemsworth, Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, Russell Crowe, Natalie Portman, Taika Waititi, and more. It will be released in six different languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
