Jointly produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan, Chandu Champion is going to set the bar a notch higher in the Indian entertainment industry. The film, which brings together the might of producer Sajid Nadiadwala, director Kabir Khan, and superstar Kartik Aryan, is one of the biggest films of this year. As the shooting of the film was completed, we got to hear an interesting anecdote about the shooting location of the film, which explored the famous and beautiful scenes of WAI village in Maharashtra.

A part of the film was shot in WAI village

The team shot the film in WAI village in Maharashtra. The team extensively covered the area of Nagewadi Dam, a hill near the dam was difficult to access. It is a very beautiful place but there is no access to anything. Even the base of eating and getting ready was a 15-minute hill walk. The team shot different parts of the film in and around this area. There were these steep hills where the equipment could barely balance and the team was shooting action there.

It’s a beautiful 250-year-old heritage

Another place in WAI was Dhom Dam, which was a beautiful place near the dam. Earlier, the team shot in small local houses and the streets of Golamb village. In actual houses where people were living. The film also explored Nana Fadnavis Wada and Menawali Ghat which is the traditional home of Nana Fadnavis, a beautiful 250-year-old heritage. The second location at WAI was Wathar Station, a smaller station that still looks much as it did in the 1950s.

Will be released on 14th June 2024

The film marks the first pairing of Kartik and Kabir and the second film with Sajid Nadiadwala after the superhit 'Satyprem Ki Katha'. This trio brings an interesting true story of a man who refused to surrender. Jointly produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan, Chandu Champion is all set for its grand release on 14th June 2024.
