The film ‘what! A Kismat’ forces a man to dance...

The trailer of the film 'What a Kismat' directed by Mohan Azad, the writer of the film 'Chandni Bar' released 23 years ago, was launched.

The film 'Chandni Bar' directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, released in 2001, received four National Awards. The film, which depicts underworld life including prostitution, dance bars, and gun crime, was written by Mohan Azad. The same Mohan Azad has now, after 23 years, as a writer and director, written a comedy film “What! A Kismat'. Yudhvir Dahiya, Vaishnavi, Mansi, Tiku Talsania, Bharat Dabholkar, Ronit Aggarwal, Bhavana Balsawar, Shrikant Maskey, Anand Mishra, Rhea Chaudhary and Atul have important roles. Recently, the trailer and two promos of this film, which is scheduled to hit the theaters on March 1, were launched.

The story revolves around a character named Chandu

The film 'What! A Kismat' story revolves around the life of Chandu (Yudhvir Dahiya), who is a loser but who has big dreams. His wife Aarti (Vaishnavi) is fed up with him, his frustrated boss (Bharat Dabholkar) is about to fire him and another girl Mini (Mansi) doesn't even acknowledge his existence. But the saying ‘God is kind to a donkey is a wrestler’ fits Chandu perfectly. There is a twist in fate and his life becomes full of ups and downs. He also gets a lot of money, another girl, and the police. Pursued by an overzealous reporter (Srikanth), an overzealous inspector (Ronit), and an overly smart SP (Tiku Talsania), his life turns into a farce.

Mohan Azad, writer and director of the film “What a Kismat”, while discussing his film said – “This is a world of dreams and turmoil. It is also a story of the conflict between a man's hard work and his destiny. It revolves around a character. This film is the story of Chandu, with whom every person will find himself connected. Because every person becomes Chandu at some point in his life. Yes yes! Chandu, the hero of our film, wants to become a great person, he dreams high every day. But as soon as he wakes up, he eats from the mouth. From the rickshaw puller to his co-workers, from the divorce lawyer to even a simple street ruffian laughs at him. Makes fun of him. Just when the audience feels that Chandu's luck will never favor him, then overnight Chandu reaches a place where everyone dreams of reaching. That means the blind man got the quail...but what will happen in the end? This will be known only when our film is released on March 1st... In reality, it is an interesting and entertaining film full of excellent and melodious music based on the incidents happening in the life of a troubled idiot."

It’s the first film as actor for Yudhvir Dahiya

Yudhvir Dahiya, who has been doing theater for the last twenty years, is also a famous voice-over artist. He has done more than thirty advertisement films. But this is his first film as an actor. After Trailer's launch, Yudhvir Dahiya said- "I have been working here since the age of nineteen. I have been doing theater with Nadira Babbar and others for twenty years. I have done a lot of voice-over work. Being associated with this film is also a matter of luck. The way fate has been playing games with my character Chandu in the film, my fate has been playing games with me in the same way.”

Vaishnavi stepping into Bollywood with this film

The actress, who plays Chandu's wife, Aarti, started her career with music videos, then joined Telugu films. Now with this film, she is stepping into Bollywood. She says- “My character in the film is not a show-piece, but a very strong character. I have played a non-glamorous character in this. Aarti's character is quite real. He has his ambitions. She wants to live a great life. She wants her husband to be a successful person. She wants to live a normal life. I am very happy to be Aarti.”
