A film should be judged on merit…. On the treatment, presentation, storyline of the film….not the extraneous considerations….
We have lost our sense of fair judgment. Getting whipped internationally years ago I was in the same situation during the gulf war and threw out the Iraqi film from being selected in IFFI. Kaul
The film was described as vulgar by the Jury Chief.
Correct. Seems this fellow has been paid by some forces. He has no resin to say its propaganda film till he is aware of full facts. The word used by him exposed him. He seems to have take his amount.
Organizers need to check film knowledge and commitment of jury.
There is separate jury which selects films. This fellow is rejecting their collective selection.
Moreover he is supposed to give views on selection of award winning films and not on each and every participating film
