CONFIRMED: PADMAVAT WILL BE RELEASED ON 25 JANUARY

The wait is finally over as after a series of controversies, problems for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavat will finally come to an end as the film is finally set to hit the screens on January 25. Yes, you read that right,  the long-delayed film most likely to release on 25 January 2018.

Popular film critic and analyst Taran Adarsh also tweeted the same

A few Weeks ago,  CBFC has passed the movie with a U/A certificate with some suggested cuts and asking the makers to change the name to Padmavat from Padmavati. During the whole controversy period, Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhansali received death threats from different fringe religious groups. After which  CBFC delayed the release.

So now 25 January is a final date for the release of the film and it will have a clash with Akshay Kumar's social drama PadMan.

If some other speculations are anything to go by then Neeraj Pandey’s Aiyaary, a patriotic espionage thriller starring Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee has changed its release date from January 26 to February 9 to avoid the clash with two big releases.  If this is the case, Aiyaary will clash with Luv Ranjan’s romcom Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.
