The film will make Emraan the only actor to provide two theatrical releases during the pandemic.

Bored at home for a year, people have been waiting with bated breath to watch something intriguing and psychedelic on a big screen and it seems that ‘Chehre’ will surely serve their purpose.

Sharing about making mystery thrillers Chehre director Rumy Jafry says, “Creating a mystery or a suspense thriller is as tough as knitting a cloth, you have to be super-careful. Your plot must uphold the suspense till the end credit rolls.”

Producer Anand Pandit adds, “Thrillers are a tricky genre as you need to keep the audience at the edge of their seats at all times. You cannot even let your audience lose interest for a second. I am hopeful that people will enjoy it."

Produced by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures & Saraswati Entertainment Private Limited, directed by Rumy Jafry, “Chehre” also stars Annu Kapoor, Krystle D’Souza, Dhritiman Chatterjee, Raghubir Yadav, Siddhanth Kapoor, and Rhea Chakraborty. The film is now all set to release in the cinema houses on 27th August 2021.
