Creative artist Sonakshi Sinha showcases own painting collections---for first time.

Multi-talented star-actress Sonakshi Sinha ( the ‘Dabangg’ girl) has finally revealed her ‘true creative colours’ in media- focus , in a positive way, I mean - Chaitanya Padukone

The versatile lead actress-painter-artist Sonakshi ( she calls herself ‘asli Sona’) has teamed up with her twin-brothers Luv Sinha and Kussh Sinha's to launch their ambitious art venture House of Creativity.

The VIP private vernissage of their inaugural exhibition, Locus of Control was convened at the swanky at BMW Infinity Cars showroom , Worli, this evening.

The high-fliers event witnessed a showcasing of artistic repertoire by young, contemporary amazing artists-painters like Ali Akbar Mehta, Arvind Sundar, Digbijayee Khatua, Govinda Sah Azad, Koshy Brahmatmaj, Kedar DK, Sarika Mehta, Shalaka Patil, Urvi Sethna and Tushar Waghela.

While celeb actress-artist Sonakshi ( also a good singer, an agile dancer and a former innovative designer) exhibited her ‘wow’ paintings for the first time ever, Luv and Kussh showcased their photographs too.

Papa Shatrughan Sinha-jee (phenomenal versatile senior actor and charismatic political luminary ) is apparently delighted with his daughter’s artistic caliber and initiatives.

The soiree saw in attendance, globally-acclaimed art dignitaries of the likes of Brinda Miller, Arzan Khambatta, Harsh Goenka, Parvez Damania, Charan Sharma, Nimisha Sharma, Ajaykaant Ruia, Vipta Kapadia, Raell Padamsee, Ami Patel among many others.

In 2021, in the midst of the pandemic, the Sinha siblings launched their art venture titled House of Creativity - an online platform that allows art aficionados, from virtually anywhere, to procure contemporary artworks from homegrown Indian talents.

Now as the virus has gone dormant, they showcased their first offline foray, an exclusive exhibition, curated by Abhinit Khanna, assisted by Anushka Bhatnagar, driven by BMW Infinity Cars.

The exhibition featured select works across paintings, photography, film, textile, and new media by contemporary House of Creativity artists.

Few years ago, when I personally visited the Sinha parivaar at their landmark ‘Ramayana’ apartments-building Sonakshi’s mother eminent former model-actress and popular politician Punam Sinha-jee had shown me the private in-house art-gallery.

Where laadli beti Sona had arranged all her own exotic canvas paintings. Most of the paintings had a ‘Lonely Lady’ theme.

Which is when Sonakshi’s dignified mother Punam-jee had fondly suggested to her that ideally there should either yet another male or female companion, in at least some of the paintings.

Interestingly . Sonakshi’s ‘Dabangg’ mentor mega-star Salman Khan, who has been her inspiration, is himself an excellent artist-painter.
