Saurav suffered "blackout" after a session at the gym on today morning and was rushed to Woodlands Hospital around 11 a.m. from his BEHALA residence by the family members. He was first admitted to the emergency ward and given preliminary treatment and put through multiple checkups. He was later taken to another ward at the same hospital after he was stabilized. Doctors said few breath giving words that Saurav is out of "any immediate danger". Woodlands hospital stated about Sourav Ganguly that... "48 years old, Indian Cricket board President Mr. Ganguly team and eminent personality suffered from chest discomfort whiIschemic heart disease. When he came to the hospital at 1pm his pulse was 70/min, BP 130/80 mm of Hg and other clinical parameters were within normal limits. His ECG showed hyper acute ST segment elevation in inferior leads and lateral leads. Echo showed mild inferior wall hypokynaesia with preserved overall left ventricular function. He is stable haemodynamically. He has received loading doses of dual anti platelets and statin and undergoing primary angioplasty now. Dr. Rupali Basu, MD & CEO, woodlands said hospital will release press bulletin at 5pm.
