CURRENTLY NO PLAN FOR DOCTOR STRANGE 2, SAYS BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH

Marvel's fans can't keep calm after the much-awaited the full-length trailer for Avengers: Infinity War was released and are excited about the theatrical release. Every tiny detail about the film is being talked about — from the superhero characters to the plot of the film. One of these interesting superhero super hero characters is Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange character who will be also seen in the upcoming film.

In an interview given to Entertainment Weekly regarding the upcoming Avengers flick, Benedict was asked about the second instalment of his 2016 release Doctor Strange, which hasn’t officially been confirmed or by Marvel Studios, “Not at the moment, no. The masterplan is continually in flux, so it would be out of order for me to speculate," the actor replied.

Cumberbatch made his Marvel debut with his film Doctor Strange in 2016, which also a box-office hit. Cumberbatch played Stephen Strange who is a surgeon-turned-sorcerer in the film. With his special magical powers, he protects Earth from other celestial and mystical dark powers. He also made a  cameo in Thor: Ragnarok (2017) and now will be seen in Avengers: Infinity War.
