Daya's entry in Marathi Cinema

The series 'CID' became the biggest crime show in the television world, in which another character became very popular along with ACP Pradyumna.

The name of that character is Daya. Actor Dayanand Shetty, popularly known as Daya, is also making his Marathi debut. Daya will be seen in an important role in the Marathi film 'Garam Kitali' which has just started shooting.

The movie 'Garam Kitali' is being produced under the banner of Ganesh Rock Entertainment and co-produced by Chitrasen Nahak and Rajesh. The shooting of the film has started immediately after the first clap of the movie.

Story, screenplay and dialogues are all being directed by Raj Paithankar. The dialogue 'Daya Darwaza Tod Do ...' from the 'CID' series has been memorized by everyone from children to seniors.

Now the Marathi audience will get to see Daya in their mother tongue film. Daya has also worked in many commercials to date. He has also won awards as a Theatre Artist.

He has won the Best Actor award for his role in the Tulu language play, 'Secret'. The role of a CID officer in the 'CID' series in 1998 turned out to be a turning point in Daya's career.

The dialogue in this series, 'Jab Daya ka ek haath padta hai, toh muh ke andar daanto se paino bajne lagta hai...' is also very loud. The same Daya will now come in front of Marathi fans with 'Garam Kitali'.
