Sometimes a couple of failures fail to rock the boat of some talented actors and actresses . It is their inborn talent that keeps them going , whatever the obstacles in their way - Ali Peter John

Deepika Padukone is one such actress who came into this industry courtesy Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan .

She would have been playing badminton like her father Prakash Padukone , but it was the magic of SRK and the dancing guru Farah who convinced Deepika and her parents that she would make it big in Hindi films one day that made the young Deepika take that one step that was going to lead her into another world where she would rule one day soon ...

And Deepika made her amazing debut with Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om and proved that she could make it really big as an actress .

And within no time , she was working with heroes like Amitabh Bachchan , Irrfan Khan , Ranbir Kapoor , Shah Rukh Khan and could even convince a director like Meghna Gulzar that she could be the ,"hero" and played that extraordinary role of an acid victim in "Chhappak" .

She could have made the best use of this film and her performance in it , but she had to join the protesters at the JNU one evening before the release and Chhappak was the victim because there were violent protests against her which affected the release of the film which had to be finally discontinued and it was Deepika's career which was affected the most ....

It seemed like disappointment was chasing her when she played Mrs Romi Dev , the wife of Kapil Dev in 83 in which her husband Ranveer Singh played Kapil Dev .

The film was expected to work wonders and that is why it was released even when Covid was at its dangerous peak . The film failed to make any impact and once again it was Deepika who suffered the most....

But talent like Deepika cannot be given up for long . 2022 will see Deepika in different avataars . She will if Corona is kind be seen as Shah Rukh Khan's leading lady in "Pathan " , one film which is being eagerly looked forward to .

Deepika will also be teamed with Hrithik Roshan for the first time in Siddharth Anand's "Fighter ". And she will be seen making her debut in a web film called "Gehraaiyaan " .

All this work for Deepika is more than enough for her to build a platform that could take her to newer heights towards the end of 2022 and see her in a much better light in the time to come .
