Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh –main ‘maike’ chali jaaungi—tum saath mein rahiyo By Team Bollyy 16 Apr 2021 | Updated On 16 Apr 2021 08:02 IST in Latest Trending News & Gossip New Update Follow Us Share It seems, you just can’t lock down the energetic mega-star-couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh ( “Deep-Veer’) - Chaitanya Padukone Apparently to skip the Mumbai-centric corona crisis in Maharashtra, lovey-dovey celeb-actors Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were spotted hand-in-hand at the Mumbai airport as they proceeded to fly to Bengaluru. The popular ‘Bajirao Mastani’ pair has reportedly decided to spend the next few days in beautiful garden-city Bengaluru, Deepika’s ‘maykaa’ hometown. According to sources, the couple has flown to Deepika’s maykaa Bengaluru to spend some quality time with her caring parents ( former world badminton champ ) Prakash Padukone and Ujjala and also sister Anisha. Incidentally, Deepika had been shooting for Shakun Batra’s untitled film before the lockdown came into force. While there is also a curfew in Padukone’s hometown, the restrictions on movement there is not so severe as in Mumbai and Maharashtra. Several corona-affected parts of Karnataka have reportedly been placed under night curfew till April 20. Meanwhile in Mumbai and the rest of Maharashtra, most Film, TV & OTT shoots have been cancelled indefinitely due to the ever-growing pandemic. No movement is allowed for the next two weeks in the state except for emergency services. After these stringent measures were imposed by the state government to curb the spread of the corona virus, many filmmakers have decided to shoot outside the state for the time being. Several producers have taken the call to shift the shoot-location to Goa as otherwise they would incur heavy losses. Even though this is just a 15-day lockdown, most film and TV industry people are preparing themselves for a proable extension, owing to the steep rapid rise in Covid-19 cases. Films like Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Pathan, Amitabh Bachchan’s Goodbye and Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 had to reportedly stop their shoot after Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s formal lockdown announcement on Tuesday.
