Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh Seek Divine Blessings On Their 1st Wedding Anniv

The families that pray together—always stay together, is what her famous father ( former Badminton World Champion ) Prakash Padukone had taught his daughter Deepika since her childhood.  Although they celebrated their first wedding anniversary on 14^th November ( Children’s Day),  super-star gorgeous-actor-cosy-couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, looked ‘just married’. Along with their respective families, the ek-duuje-ke-liye shaadi-shuda  power-couple headed to the sacred ‘Harmandir Sahib’ Golden Temple in Amritsar on Friday a day after their first wedding anniversary. The Padukones and the Bhavnanis had visited the  Tirumala Tirupati Temple in South India on Thursday to seek blessings of  revered Lord Venkateswara.  All of them covered their heads in the gurudwara premises and were dressed in traditional Indian wear. While Deepika was in a purple kurta salwar and had vermillion sindoor on her forehead, Ranveer was seen twinning with her in a matching kurta pyjama. Deepika’s sister Anisha, mother Ujjala and father Prakash Padukone and Ranveer’s father Jagjit Bhavnani, mother Anju and sister Ritika were also seen praying at the holy temple.

Last seen in the blockbuster movie Padmaavat, Deepika will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar directorial Chhapaak, playing the role of an acid attack survivor alongside actor Vikrant Massey. The movie is set to be released in January 2020. She has also confirmed a retelling of Mahabharat from Draupadi’s perspective. Ranveer and Deepika have been cast  together  in Kabir Khan’s period cricket-centric upcoming movie ‘83 . As is known, Singh essaying the role of World Cup-winning former Indian captain Kapil Dev while Deepika will play his on-screen wife, Romi. We wish this charismatic couple ‘Deep-Veer’ a long, cheerful  shaadi-shuda zindagi.
