DEEPIKA PADUKONE TO STAR IN THE REMAKE OF A SRIDEVI SUPERHIT FILM?

Deepika Padukone who was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat along with Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh was appreciated by the fans and critics.

The actress next was expected to be Vishal Bhardwaj's next which was based on a mafia queen and Deepika's Piku co-star Irrfan Khan. However, Irrfan's illness delayed the project as the actor is battling cancer in London. The project will continue once Irrfan's health is improved.

Meanwhile, it is said that Deepika's next project could be the remake of Sridevi's superhit film.

DNA quoted its source saying; "The original Sridevi film was made by a producer from the South and helmed by a Bollywood director. However, talks are on to procure the rights and remake it with Deepika. Nobody is willing to comment on the subject because talks have just been mooted and there are a lot of modalities involved. However, it is true that Deepika is in the know."

Also, there are rumors that the actress will be featuring in Wonder Woman inspired superhero film.

On the personal ground, there are rumors that Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will tie the knot on November 10, 2018, in Italy, followed by a ceremony in Banglore.
