DEEPIKA PADUKONE WANTS TO DO SOME LIGHT ROLES POST PADMAAVAT

Deepika Padukone is in London with her family. Her back problem has led to a delay in the shoot of Vishal Bharadwaj's next. The actress might be on bed rest due to severe back pain, but work does not get out of her mind. According to a leading daily, the actress is using this time to catch up on her work and is using this time to read various scripts.

The daily quoted their source; “Deepika, however, is having a tough time choosing the scripts because she doesn’t want to repeat her pre-Padmaavat masala film roles. She wants her new roles to be as big as the period drama, but they are difficult to come by.”

“Although filmmakers view her as a female actress who can carry a film on her shoulders, they want her male counterparts also to be equally strong. Besides, after the historical drama, Deepika is looking for a light, but substantial role in a film,” the source added.

Deepika Padukone will be next seen opposite her Piku co-star Irrfan Khan in Vishal Bharadwaj's next.
