DEEPIKA TO PLAY THE LEAD OPPOSITE SHAH RUKH KHAN IN DON 3?

Don 3 is the much-awaited film of its time and a lot has been said about it. Don 2 released 6 years ago and was an extremely successful film with Shah Rukh and Priyanka Chopra continuing to play the main leads in the film ever since the first film of the franchise came. SRK and Priyanka Chopra donning the avatar of Don and Jungli Bili respectively was loved by the audiences.
While the producer of the film, Ritesh Sidhawani, confirmed that Don 3 will happen for sure and even revealed that they’re currently in the scripting process for the film. The latest scoop is that PC is now being replaced by Deepika Padukone for the third film of the Don franchise. According to the sources, the female lead is being replaced amidst all the rumours that surrounded the previous films of SR and PC seeing each other. While the tabloids went berserk, ever since the two have not been spotted together.
Whereas, sources report that DP and SRK have previously churned out hits like Om Shanti Om, Happy New Year and Chennai Express. They further added that Shah Rukh had a word with Farhan Akhtar about having Deepika on board in Don 3 in place of Priyanka.
Whoever lands the role, we are excited about the film to hit the theaters already!
