Deepika's First Film As A Producer, “Chhapaak" Shooting Complete...

The first film of Deepika Padukone as a producer, “Chhapaak"was completed last week. The entire shooting was wrapped up director Meghna Gulzar within a span of six months. The film is based on the real life story of the acid attack survivor from New Delhi, Laxmi Aggarwal and Deepika had to go through heavy sessions of make-up and prosthetics to prepare herself for the role. Vikrant Massey who has distinguished himself in some good roles in the past and has signed films like “Mental Hai Kya"is the leading man in“Chhapaak"which is being jointly produced by Fox Star Studios and has music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and has been extensively shot on locations and sets in New Delhi to keep with the story. The film may be released in 2020.
