Designer Shivani (Sanjay) Nirupam  fascinates with her Mumbai-centric  ‘slow-fashion’ ! - Chaitanya  Padukone

Who says Diwali Maha-Utsav-2022 is all over ?  For dynamic political leader-former parliamentarian ( also ex-Bigg Boss contestant-2008) Sanjay Nirupam, his wife Geeta Nirupam and his innovative fashion-designer daughter Shivani Nirupam, the belated Diwali festive mood seems still in full sparkling-swing. Which was evident at  the star-studded post-Diwali and fashion-launch late-evening party-event hosted by the Nirupam parivaar on Saturday night at the exotic venue “Up-In-The-Air” at Andheri West.

Super-talented Shivani Nirupam considers and believes in “slow-fashion” and would want to create a niche motif and designs from her brand “Label Shivani Nirupam “inspired by the art culture and architecture of  historic yet vibrant Mumbai City beautifully etched in her creations.

Enthuses Shivani, “This inception of the idea started about siz months ago. I have always dreamt of creating and starting a brand inspired by our city Mumbai which has so much to offer.

She continues” In clothing, it’s Western and Traditional wear for women and in the future, we are planning to start the men's line also.The philosophy of our unique brand is slow fashion and zero wastage,” explains Shivani who had specially invited some of her charismatic photogenic model-actress friends to showcase her classy outfits at the same event.

The glit-glam celebs turn-out at  Sanjay and Geeta Nirupam’s party  included eminent showman producers Anand Pandit and Jayantilal Gada, star-actor Javed Jaffery,  (MLA) Aslam Shaikh, singer Hariharan, designer Samant Chauhan, singer Shweta Pandit, actress Aishwarya Sakuja, veteran actor-film-maker Akbar Khan, and many others.

It was touching to observe that both parents Sanjay Nirupam and Geeta Nirupam were visibly proud and happy with the innovative fashion-centric talents of their dynamic, enterprising daughter Shivani !
