DEV ANAND UTSAV MANANE KE LIYE KYA ITNA SHOR MACHANA ZAROORI HAI , KYA ITNI GANDAGI KE SAATH KHELNA ZAROORI HAI ?

It was the 10th day of the Ganesh Utsav and the daring Dev Anand was returning from his shooting in Madh Island and was cought in a very scary traffic jam -ALI PETER JOHN

He was driving his green Fiat car himself and was still looking as fresh as he looked in the morning.

I was lucky to notice the name plate of his car and called out to him and he waved out to me and we were together within minutes.

We talked about so many things together at the same time which was what always happened whenever we met .

As we were talking ,a crowd of Ganesh Bhakth recognised him and started dancing in front of his car and didnot let him proceed till he personally came our of his car all alone and facing the unruly crowd said "Kya aap log Ganesh ke liye apni bhakti aur shraddha aur koi tarike se dikha nahi sakte ?

Kya apko lagta hai ki Ganesh ko khush karne ke liye sharab peekar naachna zaroori hai aur gande kapde pehenkar beshram hona hai?

Zara hosh mein aao aur apne baare mein aur apne parivaar ke baare mein socho. Zindagi sirf aaj nahi hai , zindagi kal bhi hai aur kal jo bhi hoga woh aaj par nirbhar hai ".

The crowd which was going wild till a few minutes ago was completely quiet now and Dev got into his car and drove away .
