Dev DD Is All About Adulterous Relationships says actor and producer Sanjay Suri

Acclaimed Actor-Producer and National Award Winner, Sanjay Suri born and raised in Srinagar (Kashmir), spent the first 20 years of his life in the Valley  -Jyothi Venkatesh

Sanjay is credited with 30 features as an Actor and 7 features as a Producer

His filmography as an actor includes acclaimed films like "Firaag", "Pinjar", "Daman", "Filhaal", "Dhoop" and other trendsetting films such as "Jhankaar Beats" and "My Brother Nikhil" where he gained acclaim as an actor.

He independently starred in and produced the path breaking film, "My Brother Nikhil" and also won the prestigious National Award (2011) for best Hindi language film as Producer for "I am".

Can you tell something about your new show DD DEV2?

I worked in the earlier part of the series and quite enjoyed that and playing my character was also interesting so I said yes to the sequel.

What is the series all about?

It is about adulterous relationships. It is a take on Devdas where I play a character called Anuraag akin to Chandramukhi.

How was it like shooting for the series?

Director Ken Ghosh is an excellent director and he really made it comfortable for all of us.

My costars like Nauheed Cyrusi , Asheema Vardhan and Aman Uppal were all great to work with.

You are a producer too.

Yes. I have made many independently successful art house cinema and I make no demarcation between art and commerce.

I am acting in one more web series and will be making one more too.

What next?

After Prakash Jha's Pareeksha, I am right now acting in a short film Call Him Eddy , Ateet and Mentalhood.
