On this occasion, Ram Gopal Aggarwal addressed the people and said that realizing the potential of Indian agriculture, our honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi envisioned a self-sufficient India with an economy of 5 trillion dollars by 2025. Out of which at least $ 1 trillion will be received from the agriculture sector. Considering the resilience of the agriculture sector during the two years of the COVID-19 pandemic, but also during a period when other sectors also declined, the agriculture sector has shown a growth of over 3% , because the Government of India has paid full attention to the agriculture sector. The crop protection sector has been designated as a champion sector with the goal of making India a major producer not only of agricultural produce but also of crop protection chemicals. However, there are many challenges that hinder agricultural development, such as small land holdings, decreasing cultivable land, lack of farmer awareness, availability of quality agricultural inputs, insects, pests, diseases, weeds, etc. Apart from other biotic and abiotic problems. As well as new technologies such as precision agriculture IT, IOTA, drones as well as lack of quality agro-inputs not available to farmers, which has led to a significant reduction in agricultural productivity. It is clear that our GDP is very low as compared to developed countries because our per hectare yield is very low. If we compare our GDP with neighboring countries like China also our per hectare contribution is around 1/3 and one of the very troubling problem of farmers Ram Gopal Aggarwal further said that thank you all for participating in this conference, it is my good fortune that talented people like you are involved with me in this campaign. Awareness has to be brought and they have to be told about the new technology. Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India Kailash Chowdhary said that it becomes the duty of every Indian to make the farmers aware about the new technology for the best food grains so that we all get the best food grains. National President of National Commission for Scheduled Castes, Vijay Sampla said that Dhanuka Group has been working for the betterment of farmers for many years, the country's prosperity is linked to agriculture. Dhanuka Managing Director Mahendra Kumar thanked all the guests and said that together we all have to take the country forward. other dignitaries present include Deepak Pental, Former Vice Chancellor, University of Delhi, Rajender Singh Paroda awarded Padma Bhushan by the Government of India in the field of Science and Engineering, R.S.
