My association with Salman Khan started on a stormy note. He was shooting for a film called 'Sooryavanshi' and was doing an action scene and had artificial blood on his face! My photographer RD Rai started clicking pictures focusing on his face! Salman was avoiding the camera, but my photographer refused to stop. Salman shouted at Rai and even threatened him! I, the senior, stopped Rai from taking pictures and we left the studio. I made a complaint about Salman's misbehavior to my editor without knowing the consequences. My editor took an impulsive and emotional approach to ban Salman. Screen was a very respected and recognized weekly in those days and the news about Salman's ban spread like fire and every newspaper and magazine also decided to ban Salman and till the release of 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun' This ben continued when Barjatya brothers met our editor and requested him to remove this ben for his hit films and the editor decided to put the picture of the film on the front page of the magazine. Ben was removed not only by the screen but by everyone who banned (Ben) Salman. We met on Subhash Ghai's last birthday at 1:00 in the night and hugged each other and decided to put the past behind and start a new relationship between us but that incident proved how a minute Anger can destroy so much love and affection in a jiffy!

We didn't see each other very often during all those years, but we kept track of everything that happened during his career, like the hit and run case, the Jodhpur Sinkara case, the countless stories about his affairs with beautiful women, His court cases and the never-ending controversies over his NGO Being Human and ultimately the way his career was shaping up. He was undoubtedly one of the cutest stars who was misunderstood and even hated by many! This was a major piece of Salman's life and he managed to live his life and is still successful in a big way. He is still Sallu Bhai, the favorite star of the public!

However, there is a completely different side to Salman in his life. He has been the mainstay (sheet anchor) of his family and loves his father Salim Khan and mother Salma Khan so much that he has refused to leave the Galaxy apartment, even though he now has an apartment of his own. . He loves his brothers Sohail, Arbaaz and his sisters Albira and Arpita and his family very much and cares for his fences more than he loves them, for whom he is ready to do anything!

Another thing that is not so well known about Salman is that he is a very creative person. He has worked on many scripts and films of his stories have also been made. He loves music and takes an active interest in the music and songs of the films he works in. He has busy discussions on various topics with his father, Salim Khan, whom he has always regarded as a philosopher, guide and friend.

I knew that he had a habit of painting in his spare time, but I came to know that he took painting seriously when he painted at his firm house in Panvel during the lockdown. And now his love for painting is known in a big way as one of his paintings titled 'Immortal' inspired by Mother Teresa is to be placed along with paintings by renowned painters like Raja Ravi Varma, Abanindranath Tagore and B.S.Gaitonde.
