Dhrisha Kalyani roped in for Sony Entertainment Television’s ‘Mere Sai’ 

Followers of Sai all over the world know about the extraordinary bond of friendship between Sai Baba and Jhipari. As a little girl, she would always be seen with Sai as he visited different places in Shirdi and when he rested along with his followers in Dwarkamai. Sai Baba had also fulfilled Jhipri’s dream of celebrating Diwali and lighting the lamps using water in Dwarkamai to make her happy. Sony Entertainment Television’s show Mere Sai has been entertaining audiences all over with the soulful rendition of the Sai Baba’s life story. The show was launched on the momentous occasion of completion of 100 years of Sai Baba’s Samadhi in Shirdi. The show has beautifully portrayed the bond between Jhipari and Sai Baba, which will soon undergo a transformation.

The engaging narrative of the show is all set to take a leap. Viewers will now get to see an interesting progression in the storyline along with additions to the star-cast. The child actor, Dhruti Mangeshkar who played the role of Jhipari earlier, is an amazingly talented girl and the audience enjoyed her equation with Abeer Soofi who plays Sai Baba on the show. The newest member of the show is none other than Drisha Kalyani who will play the role of grown-up Jhipari.  Jhipari will be seen helping Sai Baba enthusiastically which she always did as a child as well. 

When contacted, Dhrisha confirmed, “I am excited to play the pivotal role of Jhipari in Mere Sai. This is my first project with Sony Entertainment Television and am glad to work with such great co-actors. I am positive that this will be an amazing experience. I have seen the earlier episodes of Mere Sai and the bond between Jhipari and Sai Baba was loved by the audience. I hope the viewers will continue showering their love on the grown up Jhipari which I am essaying. Also my mom is a devotee of Sai baba and she is all the more excited that I am a part of Mere Sai. Every year I religiously visit Shirdi to seek Baba’s blessings along with my parents. With Sai Baba’s blessings I hope to give my best performance and am looking forward to this new journey.”
