“It is very difficult to produce and act in a film. Because a producer has a lot of duties like managing production, taking care of every little thing during the filming of a project.
While acting is a completely different thing we have to take focus on our character then we can act,” he says, adding, he is open to the idea of acting in films.
As a producer, for Ajay, who has produced Jimmy Shergill-starrer “Family of Thakurganj”, the script has to excite him to back any project.
“First I read the script and understand and then discuss. If I feel that I can convey a message to people and entertain them by doing this project then I go on to work on it,” he shares.
To bring together an entire team to make a project, Ajay says as a producer is not easy, it is the most challenging job.
“To be working with a different set of people including crew members, writers, actors and others and bearing everybody's tantrums then one film is made. It is a difficult job. I accept the challenge,” he says.
He observes for anyone entering the industry without any connection, it is a bit challenging.
