Multi-talented  ‘hottie’ model-actress-anchor-compere-guitarist-RJ-TV star Dhruvee Haldankar has no hang-ups playing ‘negative-shades’ screen characters on television or on OTT.   Dynamic Dhruvee has been ‘hated’ yet appreciated for her negative, nasty powerful character Manvi Sachdeva’s performance in the ongoing popular Colors TV show ‘Pyar Ke Saat Vachan–Dharampatnii’.  Previously also, in the past award-winning actress Dhruvee played the menacing-swag evil queen ‘Sursayee’ in this popular TV show ‘Vignaharta Ganesh’ on Sony TV and Voot.

Was she more comfortable playing negative roles? Responds to outspoken Dhruvee, “ Negative roles are very difficult to play. They eat up all my energy when I perform. It needs great articulation and voice control to make the role interesting for the viewers and audiences to hate me enough.  It may sound crazy, that I have created a ‘hate-wave’ as Manvi Sachdeva. However, I receive love messages from numerous global and Indian viewers for Dhruvee, me as a person appreciating my act and they love me so much.   It feels like an achievement, an award and a reward,” enthuses Dhruvee whose secret career dream was fulfilled.

Explains ardent ”cat-lover” madame Haldankar, “I accepted the role in Dharampatnii,(Colors) mainly for Balaji Telefilms. banner  I always wanted to work with the creative team of telly-empress Ekta Kapoor-Ma’am for a long time. Getting this opportunity I grabbed the fabulous role of Manvi  I also feel it was all destined that I would play a particular role-character ( Manvi) which I strongly believe was God-sent”, says Dhruvee who is expected to sign up for yet another upcoming TV show with the same esteemed ( Balaji) banner..

There was this mock “thappad”-wala (slap-on-face) scene in ‘Dharampatnii’ which was very impactful and jolted the viewers.  After a hearty laugh  Dhruvee responds, “Such scenes can be emotionally very draining and when the audiences actually see it, they really feel the impact-moment. Do you know, I got so many messages where people expressed happiness because I ‘slapped’ Kavya Sachdeva played by Aditi Shetty. Off-screen I share a warm friendship with her! Fahman Khan and Ashita Dhawan are also amazing friends and I have done some heart-touching scenes with them too !, “ shares Dhruvee- ‘Groovy’  who is a staunch Lord Ganesha-bhakt in real-life.

Reveals the articulate style-icon actress,  “ The TV show Dharampatnii’ started exactly at the time of Ganeshotsav last year 2022 and it was a blessing for me, my dream and prayers to work with Ekta Kapoor-Ma’am was heard and I got a chance to be an asset to her production. Ganpati-bappa always resides in my heart I am a God’s child and I know I will always keep entertaining my fans and viewers-audience. Acting is my passion and gives me kick-starts in all my variety of roles,” says Dhruvee-Groovy who reveals her dream-wish star actors and what qualities turn her on in a prospective steady male partner-friend.

“As a co-star macho hero Harshvardhan Rane  (movie ‘Haseen Dillruba’ fame)  is very appealing to me and I want to work with him maybe in Hindi or down South. I also adore star-actor R. Madhavan and really wish to work with him someday.  In real life, my ideal male partner has to be blessed with a sense of humor. It matters to me, how he treats everyone around and also his understanding of the strength of intense relationships. If a man is sensible enough to know how to add precious value to my life, my heart is his !,” signs off exuberant ‘hottie’ model-actress  Dhruvee. whom I feel deserves to also play the role of  ‘Garam-Patni’ in the future.
