DILJIT DOSANJH: TRYING SOMETHING SIMILAR TO GANGNAM STYLE

Diljit Dosanjh who will be playing hockey legend Sandeep Singh for Soorma has moved from hockey field to the dance floor. It's been six years to South Korean star Psy's Gangnam Style, as a worldwide sensation, now the singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh plans to make a Punjabi number on the lines of the popular song.

Gangnam Style deleted language barriers and emerged as a global favorite and Diljit is inspired by this. Diljit says; "We are trying something similar to Gangnam Style. I have composed three songs, of which I will select one. I don't know if I will be able to make it exactly like that because then becoming gimmicky. But I am currently working towards making a music video," he says, adding that he has also written the numbers.'

The song was a huge hit owing to its unique dance moves and Diljit says he is willing to introduce a signature step in his video and hopes that it will catch on the same way as the original track did. He said; "We will attempt a unique dance style because dance numbers are enjoyed more by people. They dance at parties where it's played over and over again. Gangnam Style and Despacito are not English songs, and yet, they are popular all over the world. So, I thought why not make a song from India that can become immensely popular across countries?"

Diljit Dosanjh and Gangnam Style is going to be a great mix!
