Dino James's first interview after winning the trophy of Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 13

How was your journey with Khatron Ke Khiladi, how much did you enjoy it?

Had a lot of fun, Khatron Ke Khiladi is very underrated despite being at the top, only 2% of what we do in reality is seen on TV. I had a lot of fun there, I would call it an amazing journey and a beautiful experience.

What was your favorite stunt in the show?

I liked those dynamic stunts, although I liked all the stunts but I found the chopper stunt and the water jumping stunt exciting.

Everyone in the show was a better player than the other, so how challenging was it for you?

It was quite challenging because you don't know what is going to happen. There is a different feeling when you go there and push yourself as much as you have never done in your life. The whole experience is new so everyone reacts differently, some people become calm after the stunt, and some people start crying. This is a unique experience.

How was your bonding with Rohit Shetty, he guides and scolds the contestants when needed, so how was your journey with him?

Without Rohit Shetty, Khatron Ke Khiladi cannot be made, because he comes from the field of stunts only. Rohit Sir's personality is that of a mentor and friend. His aura is such that you feel respect for him in your heart, he is exactly like an elder brother, and he explains with love and also scolds when necessary.

In all the episodes that have happened, you looked amazing right from the first episode but in your stunt with Faizu, you were a little nervous.

I don't know what happened to me before I had done an inverted deep stunt, and maybe this was the reason that I had done the stunt a little while ago, so when I went under the water again, I was a little nervous, anyway all my water stunts went very well. So as soon as I came up from the water, my hand was scratched, Rohit sir was also asking what he was doing. It is important to have all these things, it is important to have some twists and turns in the story.

How did you feel doing stunts with Challengers?

Everyone is very nice, and it never felt like a challenger, when you go inside, your focus is only on the stunt. Everyone was very nice, Arijit and Shiv are also my very good friends, and we spent a lot of time together. The people there also said that your group is very good. There was not much misunderstanding between us, but a little bit happens when you live with someone for a long time, it happens even with family members. I was very scared before going but now I have come after telling Rohit sir, call me back sir, I will come.

What is more important physical and mental strength?

Both are very important, earlier I thought that it was going to be only on physical strength, but you all also saw how well the girls performed, mentally you have to prepare for every stunt because the audience has no idea. It depends on how cold it is there. When you come out of the chopper for a stunt, and when water comes on you from the wings of the chopper, you have to convince your mind to perform that stunt. Whenever I had to grip something, I would actually tell my hand that look brother, I am trusting you, don't break the trust. You talk to your body, you talk to yourself in such situations. I also have a tattoo of Cape Town. God is very kind, he has given so much. These two months were very special in my life.

Was there anyone during your entire journey with whom you felt competition?

When I did the first stunt, I found Sandush and Shiv very tough, and as you progress in the game you understand that everyone's strength is different in different stunts. Because of the stunt before the finale, I had lost my voice and was not able to speak. Gradually Arijit seemed very strong to me, Archana was also very strong, she used to have fun but she also played very well.

You are the first rapper in so many seasons to be a part of the show and also win, how do you feel?

It feels good, after my last stunt I cried a lot and was also happy because it was a success that we did something good. There is a different feeling when you lift the trophy, your entire journey comes before you, and it cannot be expressed in words. You can only thank God for whatever he has given you. The journey from nothing to becoming something happens before your eyes, and these are the things that make you humble.

In the last season of Bigg Boss, an MC Stan from your own rapper community won, you have won this show, and both the shows are on Colors, so which show do you think is a bigger deal to lift the trophy?

Both are big shows, one has to be strong for that show too, you are locked in a room with some people and without a phone, you cannot contact any outsider, it is not a small thing. It looks easy to watch on TV but it is also tough to do. Everyone needs skill, personality, and kidneys. These are the top reality shows in India because their nature is like this. Not everyone can go to this kind of show.

Have you been approached by Bigg Boss, and if so, would you like to do the show?

I don't think I'm made to do that, I won't be able to do it. When there was talk of Khatron Ke Khiladi, all my friends also said Brother, this is your show. Because I have lived in a village, climbed trees, and done many other adventures, I thought I would be able to do this.

When the shoot was going on, you wrote a hip-hop song after watching a stunt, so what have you written now that you have won the show?

No, nothing like this has been written yet.

What song would you like to sing for your fans?

Let me think I have written a lot of songs.
